HI Team,
I am replacing the text using Excel Macro. If i load the excel macro (mvba) on V8, its working fine.
if i execute it directly from Excel File(VBA) (note i have MicroStationDGN.OpenDesignFile myFileName) , Application is finding the matches, but its not replacing it. I am getting "Error No -2147221504 is locked caused by vba project"
Please advice.

Are you aware of differences when MicroStation application object is used (called) from another application (process)? In such situation specific requirements must be fulfilled. I recommend to check MicroStation VBA documentation, especially a description of ApplicationObjectConnector Object and related code snippets.
