[vba] raster Inherit GeoCS from Model parameter

Question

Hello 
 
 Is there any way to change "Inherit GeoCS from Model" raster parameter (described here http://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/w/microstation__wiki/raster-reprojection.aspx ) from VBA code (or mdl)? 
 I know how to change it from interface, and set it's default value from preferences, but i can't find this settings in raster interface.

Daniel, Three options come to mind that you may want to try... You could use the RasterManager.Rasters.Attach VBA function to obtain a raster object. This object contains a GeoReferenceInformation object that could be use to set the GCS on a raster. As for the Inherit GeoCS From Model option you could set its default value to Inherited in the Default Raster Attachment Options dialog ( MicroStation->Workspace->Preference->Raster Manager->Default Attributes->Set Default Attributes ). MicroStation VBA does not currently have a direct Raster API call for getting or setting that value. As with most items in the Element Information Panel that are not grayed out you can use MicroStation VBA PropertyHandlers to obtain access to items like this. Please try the sample code and see if you can get this to meet your needs. This code sample will scan the active model for Raster Attachment Element (RasterFrame) and compare the filename in the description (using wildcards) to the actual name. If they are close enough to a match the value will be modified. No element rewrite is required when setting properties since that is handled for you. I have tried this on the US English edition of MicroStation and subtle changes may be required on your side to make sure everything works as intended. Simply use the Microsoft VBA debugger and step through line by line to make sure everything is as expected in your Locals Window. [FYI.
