How can we preview DWG files in ProjectWise explorer inside the preview pane? Can I accomplish this using C# and PW API? Any help is appreciated.

You need Windows explorer preview handler. It is now part of DWG Trueview not sure if it is available as separate download similar to DGN reader.
Here is an example of embedding Trueview ActiveX viewer in VBA form. Now question how to add this ActiveX control as preview handler.
