Hello
I need create application, which will work with Project Wise Explorer, but i never did not it.
I downloaded Project Wise SDK and use VS Studio 2010. I have experience Microstation programming.
Please, help me, what i need do in start?
Hi Anton,
ProjectWise API is C/C++ based, Visual Studio 2005 is used to compile the code. This is noted in ProjectWise API help file. So the cruel reality you should start to learn C++.
There is no C# interface, so it's not a good idea to plan to use C# ... I assume it's possible because you can call native code dll from managed code, but I don't think it's easy and efficient way.
You can find useful information in ProjectWise Programming forum.

Thank you for information, Jan.
Dear Anton
I remember there are more questions like this in the this forum some are using C# but you have to generate your own marshaling interface between C# and C++ I think swedish railways made their own (private) extensive interface. The question is how much interfacing and interface debugging do you need ? - if you are good with C# then C++ (more like "C" in the PW sdk) interface is really not that difficult.. and probably has less translation issues.. (but i like C++)
Best regards,
Ian Emery
I need few interfaces.
Do you know something about PWCOMClassForDevCon.dll,PWIntBaseLib.dll?
Sorry I only use the C++ interface
