aaApi_LoginDlg Cannot convert datasource name, username and password to correct character code

I'm using Lotus Notes to connect to ProjectWise and create a document.   I can login by calling the aaApi_LoginDlg, browse the project navigator and select the necessary project and create a document.  All fine.

My problem is when I log in using aaApi_LoginDlg, I cannot pass the datasource name, username and password to the dialog box in a readable font (see dialog box below).  In order to login in, I have to select the datasource from the dropdown list and then manually enter the correct user name and password.

Unfortunately, Lotusscript does not have an equivalent for vbunicode when using Strconv.  Can anyone help with converting the strings for my login?
