ProjectWise SELECTSeries 4...what you need to know

As you may have heard, ProjectWise SELECTSeries 4 was released last week...here are a few things you need to know if you are thinking about upgrading:

- ProjectWise Integration Server is now a 64 bit application.  What this means to you is that when you are installing, you need to configure the 64 bit ODBC driver, which will be different than SS3 or prior

- Compatibility with previous versions:  ProjectWise SS4 server will be compatible with prevously released SELECTSeries client versions and vice versa.  As always, we recommend upgrading server and client versions to take full advantage of fixes and new features.  Also, any ProjectWise components installed on the same machine need to be the same version, except where a parallel installation is supported (see readme for more information)

-New products: ProjectWise for iPad and ProjectWise web services, ProjectWise Dynamic Composition Server for PDF, Bentley Transmittals Services (not yet released)
