My user has a problem opening Excel and Word document.
We got the user to tried a few workarounds, such as holding down the shift key to open and open with… which have allowed the users to access their files in the meantime.
Does anyone know what could be the cause of it?
Try closing all your Office applications. For some reasons, you have two application trying to connect and they do not release the connection request ( or get in conflict) in the backend.
On my side, this happen more often has I have to log on different PC and server to perform admin and support tasks.
I believe this is a know issue.
Did anyone find a fix for this issue? we have seen this for a few users on Office 365 when they are opening multiple office documents on the same PC. It doesnt happen all the time though, just randomly.
Hi, this issue has been reported as a defect in the 3.2 client. Please submit a service ticket to track the issue so that you can be notified when the issue is addressed.
I have been facing some issue with my office 365. first I installed microsoft office 365 download from the official website then it shows me error code 3-4 which I resolved but after login to the admin portal I try to open Word & Excel apps I receive the error code (Oxc0000142) - The application was unable to start correctly. if anyone know the issue then suggest the solution to the issue.
