My user has a problem opening Excel and Word document.
We got the user to tried a few workarounds, such as holding down the shift key to open and open with… which have allowed the users to access their files in the meantime.
Does anyone know what could be the cause of it?
We have this happening when first opening a document from a non-PW location, then opening a PW-document as a second document.
Workaround: first open the PW-document, then the other (non-PW) document.
Or start a blank Word or Excel sheet first; then it doesnt't matter anymore where your documents are located.
And it doesn't matter which Office-version you have.
Try the latest client. We are seeing much better results with this 10.00.03.329 client, both Office 365 and Office 2016. One of the most frustrating errors for staff. The work around although works, it's hard to break users habits of working on local docs and then launching PW.
