Is it possible to force remove/set PWEnvironmentByFolderPath?

I was able to remove and set the environment for a project/folder structure with the exception of folders that had files.  Is it possible to force this?

  • Right. This is not supported by design. You need to have a mapping to know where the existing data needs to go in the new environment.  I have a utility that does this remapping and new environment application, but I haven't ported it to PowerShell yet. Maybe someday.
