Would it be possible to create a cmdlet for getting a list of available Workspace Profiles and possibly Managed Workspace Configuration Blocks within a datasource?
Sorry I originally posted in the wrong place.
Will look into adding this cmdlet. If anyone is interested in this, please comment.
We're in the process of transitioning from workspace profiles to managed workspaces. Any cmdlets related to either of those would be helpful.
One specific request: Can Get-PWManagedWorkspaces be updated so that it also returns the type of the configuration block? Right now it returns the type as a level (i.e. number), so you have to know what level number corresponds to what workspace type.
I’m using Get-PWManagedWorkspaces and Set-PWManagedWorkspaceForFolders to “copy” a managed workspace from one folder to another, but Get-PWManagedWorkspaces returns the level number and Set-PWManagedWorkspaceForFolders requires the WorkspaceType as a name, so the script requires a switch statement to convert the “level” of a block returned from Get-PWManagedWorkspaces to the “WorkspaceType” Set-PWManagedWorkspaceForFolders uses.
You can use "Get-PWManagedWorkspaceConfigBlocks -WorkspaceType All" to get all the managed workspace configuration blocks. I don't think there's currently a way to see all the available workspace profiles.
Looking for a cmdlet to kick off Sptial Location scanning similar to the Scan Ref cmdlet. This is the last piece we would need to automate the entire process of geo locating dgn line work and sharing that data across multiple platforms.
might try reposting this as a new topic instead of in a reply on a different topic. And I think there is a spatial scanner now.
