Microsoft.PowerShellISE_profile.ps1_installsTheLatestVersionOf_PWPS_DAB.txt

You should first make a copy of your existing profile. Rename this to Microsoft.PowerShellISE_profile.ps1 and place in your WindowsPowerShell directory and edit to your needs. There is a function that will check to see if there is a version of PWPS_DAB installed, and if not, or if it isn't the latest version, it will install the latest version and then import the module.

Well, like most folks, I keep changing my "profile" as my needs (and understanding of PS) change. Here's a copy of what I am currently using, or at least the one I use the most.

Just saw the line about running only in 32-bit PS. Is there a reason why this could not be modified to work with 64-bit PS? When I try to run the function ImportLatest-PWPS_DAB I get errors - namely Set-PSRepository is not recognized...

Does this work for 64 bit PowerShell? When I run this, it does not update to the latest version? The last line visible is "64-bit PowerShell". When I run it in 32-bit PS - works great.
