Microsoft.PowerShellISE_profile.ps1_installsTheLatestVersionOf_PWPS_DAB.txt

You should first make a copy of your existing profile.  Rename this to Microsoft.PowerShellISE_profile.ps1 and place in your WindowsPowerShell directory and edit to your needs.  There is a function that will check to see if there is a version of PWPS_DAB installed, and if not, or if it isn't the latest version, it will install the latest version and then import the module.

Parents Comment
  • Well, like most folks, I keep changing my "profile" as my needs (and understanding of PS) change.  Here's a copy of what I am currently using, or at least the one I use the most.
