You can use folders in ProjectWise Edge to manage your files within the repository.
Navigating the folder list is very easy; the screen shows the content in the folder you are in currently. The folder path displays in the upper left and you can select any folder in the path to go directly to it. Double click a folder on the screen to open it. You can also search for a file or sort the displayed files or folders by alphabetical order.
Three buttons display in the upper right. When you select the Navigation button, all the files in the current folder display. The navigation button is on by default. When you select the Checked Out button, any files in the folder that are checked out display. For more information about checking out files, see the Editing and Synchronization topic. When you select the Favorites button, any files in the folder that are set as favorites display. For more information about Favorites, see the Favorites topic.
To create a folder, select New Folder from the More Actions button. In the Create Folder dialog, enter a Name for the folder and a Description if you wish. Then select Done.
You can delete a folder from the context menu. Right click the folder you wish to delete and the context menu opens. Select Delete Folder from the context menu.
To view the properties of a folder, select the Properties icon for that folder. You can also view the properties of the current folder you are viewing by selecting Properties from the More Actions button.
