Link to a file in Projectwise on a webpageI would like to link from an HTML internal website to a document in ProjectWise. However using any of the URL/URN combinations nothing works. It does not recognise the pw:\\ string. Can someone advise if it is possible to provide a link within a webpage to a ProjectWise Document/Folder?
This is possible but you have to hard code the link. You cannot use a web page program to 'insert' a link. Here is the code for creating url and urn links to files or folders. You will need to insert your own paths
<html><head><title> Testing projectiwse url and urn links </title></head><body><BR><a href="pw://Alpo.bentley.com:alpo-tsg/Documents/TSG/Training/Troubleshooting&space;Technote/bentley.tif">URL link to a file</a><BR><a href="pw://Alpo.bentley.com:alpo-tsg/Documents/D{cfdaf041-8261-44c0-adf9-e4d75b9412c7}">URN link to a file</a><BR><BR><a href="pw://Alpo.bentley.com:alpo-tsg/Documents/TSG/Training/PRT&space;Sessions/">URL link to a folder</a><BR><a href="pw://Alpo.bentley.com:alpo-tsg/Documents/P{8baa7fac-06b6-4c82-8b73-1cf50ad95fb8}/">URN link to a folder</a><BR></body></html>
Also it will take you to the file, but will not open it
