I am trying to plot dwgs from ProjectWise and these drawings contain 3D objects that are xref'd. When plotting the files to pdf, the pdf's do not seem to hide the 3D objects in the viewport correctly. We are using ProjectWise InterPlot Organizer SS4. Am I missing a setting ot toggle?
I'm not sure what you mean when you say "pdf's do not seem to hide the 3D objects in the viewport correctly". Can you give more details on the issue. Does the PDF file appear the same as the DWG file? Are you trying to make changes to the PDF compared to how the DWG file appears?
Okay the dwg drawings contain xref drawings (Referrence files) in model space. In layout we create viewports from the model. when plotting from AutoCAD the viewports are set to hide object (showing real represnetation). I dn not see any options that hadles the drawings the same way in InterPlot. i have attached a sample of the the pdf looks like when plotted from AutoCAD. We are not trrying to manipulate the pdf's file.
Can you send a private message to me? I need to get the data and take a look at it here. Thanks.
how do i start a private message with you?
You should be able to hold your cursor over my name (in blue) and you should see that option.
