How can I add columns to Organizer?
Displaying Custom ColumnsThe IP.CFG configuration variable IP_ENVR_COLUMNS enables you to displaycustom, per-plot attributes as additional columns in Organizer. InIPLOT, helpful information about a plot (Discipline, Sheet Number) canbe stored in per-plot environment variables. These environment variablesmay be viewed and edited in Organizer from the Variables tab.Because the environment variable name may be different from the columnheading name, this feature enables you to specify both the actualenvironment variable name and a separate “display name to be used asthe column heading name. This is helpful since environment variables arenot allowed to have spaces.Format:IP_ENVR_COLUMNS = <Display Name>, <Variable Name>; ...For example, suppose you have environment variables named Discipline andSHEET_NUM. You want these to show up in Organizer as Discipline andSheet Number. To do this you would define IP_ENVR_COLUMNS as shownbelow.IP_ENVR_COLUMNS = “Discipline,Discipline;Sheet Number,SHEET_NUMThe entire entry must be quoted and you must exit and restart Organizerfor the change to take effect. The new columns display as the rightmost columns in Organizer, so youwill need to scroll to the right to see them. You can use Organizer'sView > Columns option to re-position them. The information below is from the ip.cfg file:# IP_ENVR_COLUMNS allows you to display custom, per-plot attributes# as additional columns in Organizer.
