Text elements which should be plotted small are being plotted as boxes with Xs in them.
The text is being X-boxed by IPLOT the same way MicroStation does. The size at which text will be X-boxed can be controlled using the IPLOTSRV_SMALLEST_TEXT variable in the IPLOT Server configuration file (iplotsrv.cfg). This variable is equivalent to the Smallest Text user preference in MicroStation. The default value for this variable is 4, which means that on a 300 dot-per-inch device, any text that is less than 4/300 (0.0133) inches tall will be X-boxed. To change this setting, edit the iplotsrv.cfg file using the ProjectWise InterPlot Server Configure utility.
