Problem:
The custom line style is wrong displayed in the PDF file, which was generated from a AutoCAD DWG file via the ProjectWise i-Model Composition Server for PDF Server
Solution:
The DWG custom line style file - LIN - can contain embedded symbols for example from a SHX font.
You can check that if you open the LIN file with Notepad…
*SWER, ---/----/----
A,.625,[SWER3,PCA.shx,s=.25,x=-.25,y=-.125],.625
*SWERUG, --/-- --/-- --/--
A,.5,[SWER3,PCA.shx,s=.25,x=-.25,y=-.125],.3,-.3
*FENCE1, ---/----/----
A,.625,-.2,[SWER3,PCA.shx,s=.15,x=-.19,y=-.09],.625
In this LIN file were symbols from font SWER3.SHX and PCA.SHX embedded.
The problem was solved, after the fonts SWER3.SHX and PCA.SHX were stored in the MicroStation font directory of the ProjectWise i-Model Composition Server for PDF Server
