When using iCS for PDF, disk space on the c:/ drive appears to fill up over time. Many temporary files get left behind by InterPlot, the print engine, ProjectWise, Managed Wrokspaces, RealDWG, etc. iCS for PDF cannot just blindly delete temporary files not knowing which process needs the temporary files.
This side effect can cause the performance of the iCS for PDF server to suffer. Not only can the temporary files eat up the disk space, the number of files exceeding 65,536 can also cause a serious performance issue.
It is recommended the user create a scheduled task to run a power shell that will delete the files from c:\windows\temp on the iCS for PDF server. The frequency of this task will depend on the server load and how quickly c:\windows\temp gets filled up.
