The ProjectWise V8i (SELECTseries 4) Integration Module for AutoCAD 2016 version 08.11.11.848 download contains the installation package needed to integrate both 32-bit and 64-bit AutoCAD 2016 and advanced AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016 with ProjectWise Explorer V8i (SELECTseries 4).

The ProjectWise V8i (SELECTseries 4) Integration Module for AutoCAD 2016 provides the following capabilities:

      • Integration for select AutoCAD 2016 dialogs to manage and access 2016 DWG files

      • This module not only supports basic AutoCAD 2016, but also the AutoCAD 2016-based products including:

        • AutoCAD 2016 SP1 (32-bit or 64-bit)

        • AutoCAD Architecture 2016 (32- and 64-bit)

        • AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016 (64-bit only) (standard Integration only)

        • AutoCAD Map 3D 2016 SP1 (32- and 64-bit)

        • AutoCAD MEP 2016 (32- and 64-bit)

        • AutoCAD P&ID 2016 (32- and 64-bit)

        • AutoCAD Raster Design 20016 (32- and 64-bit)

        • AutoCAD Mechanical 2016 (32- and 64-bit)

        • XREF management for AutoCAD 2016 data sets

        • Integration for AutoCAD 2016 sheet set manager sets

        • Support for data links between AutoCAD 2016 DWG files

      • Attribute exchange between DWG document and ProjectWise document properties

        Notes:

This integration module delivers ProjectWise integration support for AutoCAD 2016 and the AutoCAD vertical applications listed above.

        • This integration module also delivers advanced ProjectWise integration support for AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016.

        • Users who install this integration module can expect the same level of ProjectWise integration with AutoCAD 2016 as they had with AutoCAD 2013, 2014, and 2015.

        • When installing this integration module, you may get a warning that the installer cannot update certain files in use, because it cannot close the Windows Explorer process. It is safe to ignore this warning and restart your computer when installation is complete. These files will be updated when the computer is restarted.

        • Due to a limitation of the AutoCAD API, when selecting a ProjectWise document from Recent Documents in AutoCAD, the document that was last opened from ProjectWise Explorer opens, rather than the selected document.

      • No additional help document is provided with this integration module; you can continue to use the ProjectWise Explorer help document delivered with ProjectWise Explorer V8i (SELECTseries 4).

The download package contains separate installers for 32-bit and 64-bit AutoCAD; the corresponding MSI must be installed to establish ProjectWise integration. For a more comprehensive list of new features and compatibility considerations for ProjectWise Integration Module for AutoCAD 2016 please see the Readme.

        • ProjectWise Explorer V8i (SELECTseries 4) is required for installation and usage of this module. No additional license beyond a ProjectWise Passport is required.

        • Integration with AutoCAD 2016-based products is only with the standard AutoCAD functionality. Application specific capabilities are not addressed with this add-in.

Hi, I can not seem to find any Documentation on Projectwise integration into Civil 3D 2016. If you could provide documentation and or current videos showing current features and integration into the prospector that would be great. The limited comparisons I've come across are from 2012/2013. These comparisons show little integration into Civil 3D and labor intensive proceadures. Anything you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks

Also, Is there any database point integration? Vault uses .mdb to manage project points. Having a project wide point database is esential for managing point data outside of CAD/C3D with the ability to Querying in only the points you need and for each drawing in the project. Is there any such feature either in projectwise or in development?

      Hi Jacki,

Has there been any new integration included OR is it simply a port of the same integration from previous years.
There are a number of important C3D tools that are not integrated, and further development would be very welcome by many companies.

      Thanks,
      Michael
