How do we start Navigator... ?

Hi Frederic, can you provide some details on what will not start? You said you entered your credentials but it will not start but if you can elaborate that would be helpful. Did the sign-in fail, are you not seeing the File Open screen?

Hi, I entered my info in the Navigator Sign-in screen. I get the checking EULA. Then Networkerror pop up. is there a setting that is required for the fire wall ? Why is it that we need to sign-in ?

I cannot log in either. I get sign in failed. "Could not connect to server. Check network connection." I can run the demos though

Just disconnected my computer from our company Network and went through a different router we have that has direct internet connection and logged in no problem. Seems there is some Network configuration needed to get through our firewall. Any idea what needs to change would be useful. Thanks

Hi, after logging in and the checking EULA message, Navigator CONNECT Edition displays the not very meaningful text "NetworkError" (spelled exactly as it occurs). I am on a guest wifi in a customer location, as a result I can't change anything on any network setting. I have checked my Navigator Mobile (05.04.01) on the iPad and it gives the same error, so that is consistent.
The demos work. Further i checked WorkSite on the iPad as well as Bentley Map Mobile. No problems there. All of them need the Bentley passport login, so it seems quite likely that Navigator's passport sign in has a flaw.

was this resolved? I was able to login via Navigator Connect when working from home this weekend to test this connection concern and now that I am back in the office, it will not login and I get the same error as others above, "Could not connect to server. Check your network connection." What am I checking? What is the site address that the tool is trying to access? I do not understand the issue.
I also want to know how to run the software without connect to the Bentley site. What if all of my data is on my local hard drive or in my ProjectWise environment and I want to not use the login? Shouldn't I be able to bypass this?
