Open a dwg and see the blocks/cells in the cell lib

In MicroStation, when I open a DWG with blocks, I can see all these blocks/cells listed in the active (named "none" cell library. So I can place the same cells.

In Navigator when I open the dwg, these cells are not available in the cell library. Is there a way to fix this ? Or can I default attach a cell library (or several libraries) in Navigator when it starts ? Could the cell selector be available ? Thanks

Thank you very much indeed Paul. It's a workable work-around, much appreciated :)

Hello Nicholas - this same issue exists in MicroStation. The 'gothca' here is that Navigator doesn't open your DWG directly, it creates an overlay.dgn and attaches your DWG to it. If you were to create that same scenario in MicroStation (attach your dwg as a reference to a dgn file) you'd see the same behavior. The solution at this time is from within the Cell Library dialog - do a FIle>Attach and attach the DWG as a cell library to the overlay.dgn. I hope this helps.
