What should I use to review drawings and models now?

Hi, after a long time I start to look at going into a digital review form again. Previously the tool to use was ProjectWise Navigator, bot now with the connect edition I don't see any review capabilities? Do I miss something or is there another tool I should use?

Preffarably I would like to see the Bentley proposed workflow and tools in a map form?

We use plain MicroStation V8i SS3 at the moment to create our drawings and models.

It is still available as Bentley Navigator.

Also DGN Reader is quite useful - store.bentley.com/.../1000BDGNRW--Bentley-DGN-Reader-for-Windows
      Bentley View - store.bentley.com/.../1000BV--Bentley-View

There should be Navigator also as Windows 8 or 10 app in the future.

Yes, the old V8i version still exists. But I'm talking about the coming Connect Editions.
The Navigator has been completely rebuild and doesn't have the same functionality as the old one. For example the V8i has the review where you can make redlining and markups, which seems to be missing in the Connect Edition.
And for the Connect edition you need to export as Imodel mobile to be able to view them.

So within the Connect edition what software is planned to be used for markups and review?
As we never implemented the workflows I'm looking to the future and want to make sure that I'm looking into the correct software and inline with Bentleys thoughts as well.

Navigator CONNECT will have a redlining and markup in future. And yes DGN format for publishing and review is obsolete, imodel is a must.

Good to know. Do you know what format of imodel that will be used? Today there are two, one normal that contains a lot of information or the more mobile friendly. (Today Navigator Connect requires the mobile one).
Will it be a more rich Navigator that is more like the old version or a enhanced one?

A lot of questions, but it's only so I can make my plan on what to concentrate on this year :)

I thought Navigator Connect uses regular dgn.imodel. Will install it and test it myself. Unfortunately I do not have any more info. Also I may have mistaken Navigator redlining with Bentley Map mobile redlining. Bentley?

Bentley are masters of confusion for product names, versions etc.
      Same applies for imodels.

Now there are not 2 but 3 different imodels:

regular i.dgn imodel exported from Microstation

Mobile imodel(2D) exported from Map, only usable in Map mobile

Mobile imodel(3D) converted by Navigator publisher or MS CONNECT, only usable on Navigator mobile and Navigator CONNECT using Bentley Cloud.
