Navigator CE Update 3 with 2D files?

Hi Jan,
I was told by Bentley that the next update of Navigator will likely to include 2d capabilities, but from what I see in your post that is not to be the case on update 3, which is disappointing. We have a lot of annotations generated by the Dynamic views (2D). I wanted to incorporate these plans as part of the supporting files for coordination in Connection Edition. During my test, I actually found a workaround to put annotations generated by Dynamic views into I-model and publish it to the portal to be shared in Navigator Connection. For now, I will use this technique to satisfy my users' request. You can use the following technique as an interim solution. 1. Open the DV view model in Microstation Connection. 2. Save as another copy then export to 3D. 3. Merge all external models into one. 4. Export to HLN and output as 3D. 5. publish it as i-model. I am in the process of automating this using MVBA.
