    Microsoft .NET error

    Hello,

I'm using Navigator v8i(SELECTseries 6) Version 08.11.09.713. When I try to use the keyin "markup export all" or "markup export active" I get a Microsoft .NET Framework error. I attached a screenshot of the error message. This issue was also replicated on another laptop with a different model using Navigator v8i(SELECTseries 4) Version 08.11.09.293 . The same error message occurs.

It's running on a Windows 10 machine with all the latest Windows updates. I've already tried running the .NET repair tool and installed the latest version of the .NET framework. Navigator itself was also uninstalled and reinstalled.

Does anyone have any suggestions for troubleshooting?

    Best regards,

    Tamas

      Hi Tamas,

another question / thought: How do you use the key-ins? Do you use the key-ins exactly as you wrote ("markup export all" and "markup export active")?

In Navigator help it's specified that the key-in is "MARKUP EXPORT [ ACTIVE | ALL | RELATED ] <PATHname> <filename>", so maybe Navigator crashes because you do use key-in incorrectly without file with path specification?

      With regards,

        Jan

      Hi Jan,

Thank you for your help, it steered me in the right direction and I managed to solve it now.

The problem was that the markups dialog window wasn’t open when I tried to export the active markup. If I open the markup dialog and then run the keyin it works correctly. I assume that until this dialog is opened there is no active markup and that’s why it crashed.

Hopefully, it should be possible to export markups without having to resort to key-ins?
