I'm using Navigator v8i(SELECTseries 6) Version 08.11.09.713 . When I try to use the keyin "markup export all" or "markup export active" I get a Microsoft .NET Framework error. I attached a screenshot of the error message.
Thank you for your help, it steered me in the right direction and I managed to solve it now.

The problem was that the markups dialog window wasn’t open when I tried to export the active markup. If I open the markup dialog and then run the keyin it works correctly. I assume that until this dialog is opened there is no active markup and that’s why it crashed.

RE: Microsoft .NET error

Hi Tamas,

another question / thought: How do you use the key-ins? Do you use the key-ins exactly as you wrote ("markup export all" and "markup export active")?

In Navigator help it's specified that the key-in is "MARKUP EXPORT [ ACTIVE | ALL | RELATED ] <PATHname> <filename>", so maybe Navigator crashes because you do use key-in incorrectly without file with path specification?

With regards,

Could there be another way to export markups using VBA other than the key-in command?

RE: Microsoft .NET error

Hi Jan,

Thank you for the reply. Yes I've gone through the registry and the .NET Framework 3.5 is installed.

RE: Microsoft .NET error

Hi Tamas,
I've already tried running the .NET repair tool and installed the latest version of the .NET framework.
Navigator is based on quite old NET 3.5, not the latest 4.x, so to install "the latest" probably will have not any effect.

Is NET Framework 3.5 installed on your computer? This version is not installed by default and has to be added manually. On the other hand I assume without the framework installed, it would not be possible to install Navigator.

With regards,
