Bentley View and I model plugin installation problems

Hi,

what version of Bentley View do you install and in what Windows? It's not easy to investigate a solution if important information is missing....

Visual Basic installation is the part of Prerequisite Pack, so I think the first step should be to try to install prerequisite pack again and check, if all parts were installed correctly.

Win 7 32 bit, just tried to download latest off web and install, any idea where I can find the prereq Pack? Sorry I'm new to this....

It depends from what place do you download your software.

• If from SELECTservices Download, switch on "Show Dependencies/Required Supporting Files" in Search Form and Prerequisites for Bentley Desktop Applications will be listed as the dependency for plenty of applications.
• If from Bentley iWare website, go to Bentley View download page and click on Download Bentley View. In the list available downloads, there is Bentley View V8i - English (SELECTseries 2) - Prerequisite pack version item.

Can you provide a screenshot of the dialog box where you are seeing that? Does Bentley View run?

Visual Basic (VB) and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) are two different things; like apples and oranges.  VB is an obsolete Microsoft product.  MicroStation VBA is produced by Bentley Systems and delivered with MicroStation and other applications.
