    Publishing and Autogenerated (t1) extensions

    BeCommunities,

When Publishing an i-model from Composer, as the reference files reside in PW, it appears in the process some files are being created with a (t1) extension automatically. Why is this occuring? Is this (t1) an issue which I should be concerned with?

This process is Revit initiated. From Revit Native file > Bentley Add-in "publish to i-model" (we have PW integration issues thus the i-model is saved to my local, then copied into PW) > open a composer file from an i-model file within PW > New Composition (save to PW) > attach references > create Groups > add links > publish i-model > adjust settings per the 2nd snip attached below (here, is where the process autogenerates these (t1) extensions. And per the snip, the (t1) files are the reference files).

My hard drive has 19GB of free space. - sorry if this is completely irrelivant. I am trying to think through ANY factors which may be causing this.

      Hi Jim,

This is expected behavior, basically when you transform any existing i-model(s), IMC creates an intermediate published & transformed i-model by default with "t1, t2, t3 and so on as needed" added suffix so that it doesn't overwrite the existing i-models, and then embed those into a resulting package. You can use the option "Remove intermediate files after creating a package" from 'Package Settings' under Publish i-model dialog to delete those as desired.

      HTH,

      Junaid

      This is a test
