Tried using simpler / different models to no avail - NMP seems to stop writing the file at 33KB every time. PLEASSE PLEASE suggest something else to try? Must be a setting in the file?

I have removed NMP and re-installed from a FRESH download from Bentley's Select site. Still the same result! Only 33Kb file generated. What to try next?

*.idgndb-issues.log file is placed in same directory as your new *.imodel publishes. But it is saved only if issues were encountered. After publish completes in Navigator Mobile Publisher dialog it shows publish finished and if issues found it displays them there too.

Can try reinstalling Navigator Mobile Publisher, maybe something with the installation itself. Because same version works fine on my side (Windows 7 with SP1)

Microstation version is 08.11.09.292

*.i.dgn size on disk is 4.12 MB (4,329,472 bytes)

No log file generated that I can see - but where would I look for it?

What is the exact version of MicroStation 8.11.09.xxx?

What file size you get of single i-model package *.i.dgn? - I get 140610_3D .i.dgn = 3.96 MB (4,158,976 bytes)

When publishing with Navigator Mobile Publisher, does it generates *..idgndb-issues.log file? What issues it reports?

YES

(if yes I can publish mobile i-model and view it on Navigator Mobile on iPad. However, I see empty views of your generated *.imodel).

This is my experience too. The file is there, but without any views!

(I see your *.imodel file is only 33,0KB size, as my published is over 4MB.)

Might explain the problem! Could be because there is no data to view?

(Double checking the steps:

1. Open your "140610_3D .dgn" (it has one ref file and one sub-referenced dxf file is missing, but not needed for test))

Correct -(the .dxf file is turned off)

( with MicroStation or Bentley i-model Composer or AECOsim Building Designer or ... what you have.)

I use Microstation v8i SS3

(2. Publish a packaged i-model)

Done as per your steps

(3. open packaged I-model in Navigator Mobile Publisher 05.00.01.06 and generate *.imodel)

Done as your steps

(4. view *.imodel in Navigator Mobile iPad app)

No views visible either when 'checking the .imodel file within NMP OR on the iPad. File is only 33Kb!

I tried the upload of the three files. Not sure if they went through! Please confirm.

( I pressed upload - 'pop up blocker' produced a message - pressed 'allowed once' and the file paths disappeared from the window).

It's a 3D model. I will upload the DGN, its attached 'context' reference file and the .iModel to the link you provided.

The versions of NM (05.00.01) and NMP (05.00.01.06) were all installed in the past few days.

What versions of Navigator Mobile Publisher and Navigator Mobile on iPad you have installed?
