Post is going out for those DM users.
When we first started using DM, the company policy is that only Document Controllers can issue project transmittals, so we set the DM access accordingly, At this point RFIs where not being implemented. Since then, RFI functionality, is now being considered for project correspondence tracking. So I am back to my original issue, How can I allow a Project Manager, (for example) to issue an RFI but NOT a transmittal.
Curious on how other users are managing this, and what is on the horizon from Bentley to provide more granular "Issue Rights" when it comes to RFI/Transmittals

Hi Stephen, this is an existing enhancement request that development is looking to implement in a future release

Hi Molly,
I was suspecting that this enhancement would need to be completed, prior to being able to support the Common Data Environment that BS1192 is designed around, As our UK offices are very much engaged and are working within ProjectWise. I was looking for input from other EPC or Bentley best practices, that have developed DM work processes that support BS1192 work processes.
Thank you,
