Does anyone know if there is a way to pull the company name (or a shortened version of the company name) from the package originator into the transmittal / submittal/RFI ID numbers as part of the prefix (i.e. pjt #-Company-0000001)? Is there also a way to define how many leading 0s are added to the sequential number?
Thanks!
I would like to know the answer to these two questions also. Ideally we want to use the originator code that we use in ProjectWise Explorer as part of the naming convention in Deliverables Management. We also noticed the sequential number is 7 digits when everything else we do uses 6 digits which is a tad annoying.
Hello David, Ian - You can add Project Code as prefix to the transmittal number in ProjectWise Deliverbles Management Settings. Refer snapshot where I have fixed O02618-TR- (ProjectCode-Transmittal-). For serial number, there is currently no setting to change the number of digits.
Thanks for the response Gayatri. I was actually hoping that there was a way to add the sender's company name to the TR/SM/RFI numbers. This name would change depending on which company sent the TR/SM/RFI so we cannot put in static text (i.e. {ProjectID}-STANTEC-SM-0000001.

Hello David - this is not in backlogs for Product Team as of now, but we can raise an enhancement for this on behalf of Stantec.
Thanks Gayatri!
