Batch Process - Compress DGN files

Hi, First post in this forum so please forgive me if i miss key information.

I am currently using Projectwise Explorer version 10.00.03.167 on a hosted CDE. The contract is to use Openbuilding designer Update 5 for deliverable production.

We are struggling to create PDF's using the rendition engine built in and one cause of this is files are not compressed. We would like to introduce batch compressing to the project, but the trouble we are having is this checks out all drawings and does not check them back in automatically. We are using a basic script to do this process on the link below.

Is there a way to compress the files and check them in automatically overnight?

    Any help appreciated.
