In Deliverables Management when reviewing files via ProjectWise Explorer and the DM connector at one point on the users PC, they were able to open PDF in Bluebeam. Then something changed and we cannot pinpoint what, all of a sudden it opens the files in PDF Markup in the web. We have disabled the following option in the installer (screenshot) thinking that was what controls it however any time you click on a pdf via the incoming or outgoing DM connector window it opens via PDF Markup in the web.
As far as I know, we have never supported BlueBeam integration from our end, they are a third party App that is responsible for their own integration which I know used to be done by entering a specific configuration within BlueBeam itself. What I suspect you were seeing is ProjectWise Explorer opening BlueBeam either by a file association, or as a default editor for your machine.
My thought is that when you check PDF Markup Service Integration, that causes the client to bypass any default PDF software or file associations for PDF markup.
Hi Dan, Association is set to PDF, however sometime triggered it to open in Bluebeam. I am having the user uninstall Bluebeam in the next few days and try it with out it on the machine and only Adobe reader and see what that does, however not a solution since he needs Bluebeam.
Create a ticket for Integration and someone should get to you in short order.
Hello Ranveer, "PDF Markup Service Integration" option in PW Explorer installer means that user will be able to open PDF file from ProjectWise Explorer in PDF Markup service (right-click on document and select open in PDF markup). In Deliverables Management we implemented PDF markup integration with PDF Markup service and Issue Resolution Service with full workflow in mind (this integration cannot be turned off). So when you try to open PDF file from Transmittal or Submittal it will always open PDF in PDF Markup in browser.
