Advanced search: My recent changes

Question

I want to make a saved search that shows the current users changes made to documents in the last seven days. 
 I want to be a global saved search so everybody can use it without making changes to the search. 
 What I need, is to state "current user" in the "File updated by" dropdown and "today - 7 days" in the "On" date field. However I can only select a specific user, and and specific date. Am I missing something, or is that kind of search just not possible to make?

You should be able to set the date range. Using Search Form, select the "On" attribute next to the "File Updated by" attribute. On the Format Tab that opens, "Relation" should be set to <custom expression>. For the Value, enter $RANGE_DAYS(-7)$ 
Unfortunately I do not have a solution for the "current user".
