We are using virtual server for pw int server and woudl like to make cluster soon. To do this do I need to set 3 windows servers up like this? example ( clients <----> {windows server 1 ( for Virtual IP) with (clustered PW int 1 + PW int 2)

Actually, I need to use projetwise integration server, web server, pw indexing server and interplot server and would like to use web server and int server in the cluster env.

Here is my thoug. Please see the below diagram and coudl you give me advice about the below my questions?

Q1. Is it possible technically?

Q2. Do I need to prepare 8 virtual servers?

And any advice will be welcommed. Thaks in advance.

When deploying a cluster you do not have a third server acting as the cluster. What you have is either a software load balancer (Microsoft built in technology) or a hardware load balancer (such as an F5). With that being said we have many users who run their integration servers in a cluster environment. Your diagram is almost correct, but the indexing server would not be coming off of the cluster appliance it would be coming off of the two individual integration server nodes.
