Removing Projectwise from Autocad 12, 13, etc.

How do I remove Projectwise from Autocad, without uninstalling Projectwise from the computer?  Projectwise interferes with how Autocad works (mostly "Save" and "Save as" commands), even on drawing files that do not involve Projectwise.  I have clicked on the "Disable" button under the Projectwise menu in Autocad, and I used the "DMSOFF" command to disable it in Autocad, but Projectwise continues to interfere. I need to keep Projectwise for Microstation projects, so I don't want to uninstall it, but I do need to completely remove it from Autocad. Thanks for your help.

Go to the Control Panel, Programs, uninstall program. Click on ProjectWise and choose remove. When the diaolog comes up, you will have the option to Modify. Choose Modify. On the next screen open the iDesktop branch and disable AutoCAD integration, follow through the rest of the screens and install/finish. I believe there is a way to do this with the msi command line switches if you have to do it on lots of computers.

Thanks! That did the trick. Autocad is back to normal, and I can still use Projectwise with Microstation. Thanks again.
