    upgrade projectwise ss3 to projectwise ss4

    Hi,


    I'm planning to upgrade my existing projectwise SS3 to SS4 on my windows server 2008 box. what should I do first before doing anything on my existing PW SS3? can you please give us some guidelines or procedures? thank you.

      Hi Jessie,

      I would first suggestion you contact your account manager to work with BPS to do your upgrade. Reason being they can run tools on your database for any issues, figure out the best performance setup, on top of that if an issue arises they can assist in that also. I would also suggest reviewing the implementation guide that is located in the server install folder in ProjectWise.
