Is anyone successfully running ProjectWise Explorer on Windows 8.1?

I have the 8.11.11.590 build of projectWise Explorer installed on my windows 8.1 laptop and it crashes on successfull login to a data source. There are no error dialogs or any other problem reports raised at the time of the crash.

Will this OS be supported in the next release of ProjectWise and is there any indication of when this might be?

Did you find any solution to your problem?
Im facing same issue - ProjectWise Client seems to be working fine untill you try to have PowerPID running on the machine then I get the same issues you describe. Removing powerpid and reinstalling PW and ProjectWise works again.

I tried installing a newer version of the autoplant framework (apr64081112111en), then PowerPID ss5 Refresh and then ProjectWise. This seems to work so far. Note I have not done extensive testing but ProjectWise works and I have added a few components to an existing PID which seemed to work as well.
