    Hi

    can i install PWss4 on workgroup not on a domain environment?

      Hi,

      If you are configuring production (testing) environment then it should be on a domain.
      If you just want to test some PW features or play around with some PW parts locally (e.g. settuping VM for yourself) then you can do it on the workgroup.

      Hi Jessie,

      Well, PW Integration Server can be not in a domain but we don't recommend it because you might face some security/access issues later on on your server/network accessing PW datasources. Also Single Sign On won't work.
      Setting up each part of ProjectWise you can see that in PW Implementation Guide it always says: Make sure the computer you are installing on is on a domain. So it's recommended to have PW on a domain and use FQDN names. You can read here more why it is recommended so communities.bentley.com/.../use-fully-qualified-domain-names-for-projectwise-network-configuration
