Adding new participant(s) to Rich Projects in bulk?

Does anyone know of a way to add a new participant (for instance as a Project Administrator) to multiple/all folders that use a particular Project Type? I'm trying to avoid having to downgrade and recreate *alot* of Rich folders and lose the data I already have just to add participants one at a time.

    Thanks in advance,

      Hello Stephan
I don't think you need to downgrade the projects to add Participants.
I ran a quick test: I created a project folder and added participants, then after saving went to the project folder properties and was able to add participants via the participants tab. I then and was able to use the export tool on the access tab to export the permissions \ participants from one project folder, then import them to another project folder via excel. The permissions\participants that were imported to the new project folder where brought in as the participants with the participant type roles as they were exported (not custom). You can do the same with existing project folders. Just set the permissions as you want them in one folder, export them, then import them to as many project folders as you like. There are options to merge or replace the existing permissions during the import. You can even edit the excel file an make changes before importing.
