Know which group has access to which folder

Is there a way to see which folder a group/list is associate to and the permission?

I"m taking over an existing Pwise deployment and I have to redo the group and security access. Before removing a group or a list, I wanted to know where that group or list is being used and the permission associate.

      Adding to this.....

List the folders and also list the rights to the side ( similar to the access control pane) in case we need to edit them from the admin consol.

I realize that no matter how good I try to maintain the inheritance I end up with custom folders access. Finding them can be a tedious process.

This will not solve all but will help

I agree. The ability to select a User List or Group in PW Admin and see what PW folders were linked to these groups would be quite useful.

Thank you. not exactly what I was looking for, I was looking for something more clean, like RMB on a group and select show all folders using that group.

Also the excel sheet for me take like 5 good minute to open so not really convenient...

Sure! The easiest way to do this Luc is to simply export the security model out using our spreadsheet tool.  It allows you to import an export the security out into a convenient spreadsheet for your review.

In the bottom frame of ProjectWise Explorer look for the Access Control tab.  It will show you the current security on any folder you select and you can highlight a parent/project folder and push the Export Permissions button. (Located in the right corner of the Access Control Tab, look for the spreadsheet icons.)

      This is a test
