I create a new attributes in the admin console under an environment.

At the creation we can define column attributes

    • The type
    • The length
    • Enable "allow nulls"

How can we edit those Column Properties once they are create?

Once you have created them, you cannot edit them. Don't try to do it via SQL, easiest thing is to delete them and build a new one. If you delete the attribute, of course all of the data is gone. Contact BPS if you need them changed

      Luc,

Stephen is correct, you need to create a new attribute with the correct length and type and then have your dba simply copy the content from the old attribute to the new one. Then you are free to delete the old attribute.

      This is a test

If the old attribute is already used in the datasource, here is a way to copy data over to the new attribute: communities.bentley.com/.../have-you-outgrown-your-environment-four-steps-to-free-your-data

      Never mind....

As always  I need to ask to find the answer :-) I need to use System variable

      Hi Molly

I finally get some time to explorer this link

I try to follow the instructions and use $EDIT#Too_Small$

However when the new attributes get update, instead of seeing the value of the old attibutes being transfer, i saw the formula $EDIT#Too_Small$

Not sure what i have done wrong, any chance you could give me a quick tips?
