    ProjectWise and Civil3d

We seem to have an issue with Civil3D and various versions of ProjectWise. The issue is that the Nest Depth is being changed to 99. We have a Bentley provided script that changes the nest depth back to 5, however, when this script runs, the process stops other ongoing user actions until the script completes. It was stated that the issue is resolved in the 10.00.01.67 build of ProjectWise but the problem persists. Now we are told that the issue is fixed better in the 10.00.02.265 build, but we have machines that are running this build and the problem persists. Can someone explain what is going on, and the ultimate resolution to this problem?

      Hello Gary,

If you run the script that fixes the nest depth to 5 and you have all users using version 10.00.02.265 then the issue should not occur. This issue is nasty because it can come back into the project if some user has older version of ProjectWise Explorer where the issue was not fixed, so it again changes the nest depth level to 99 in a database and this will become an issue for all the users again.

      Regards,
      AZ
