DGN Files with references that have raster's taking extremely slow to open from project wise every single time

I'm currently working on a project set up on projectwise. Havent had issues before, but recently when starting to work back on it again, its taking extremely slow.

I am working with sheet files that have a Raster Reference attached.

Every time I go to check out the file, it takes extremely slow while looking for the rasters locations.

It just recently started doing this and it doesn't do it for anyone else working on the project.

I was told before, that while opening the file for the first time from projectwise, it can take slow due to your computer tryng to process and store files in dms folders.

After the first time, this should not continue to happen (so I'm told).

I cleared/purged my local copies from the "Local document organizer", as I was told this may help... but nothing has changed.

    Thanks for any help!

for anyone that stumbles on this thread, the issue is resolved - the problem was the setting "Use Up-To-Date Local Copy on Copy Out". With that off ProjectWise will copy out all files even if there is already a local copy of the file. With it on only out-of-date files are copied.
