    ProjecWise not checking out documents

One of our users opens a pdf and ProjectWise does not check it out. Consequently his changes only go to the local copy and when he closes the document, it doesnt update the ProjectWise copy.  Is there a setting for this?  Other users work as expected with the same document. If it matters, its bluebeam pdf program.

does it happen for all documents for the user, or just PDFs? If it's for everything it may be they changed the default double-click action. This is under Tools > Options > Settings tab. Document List > Double Click Action. If it's set to Open Read-Only you would see this behavior.

if it's just happening in bluebeam, are they by chance using the built-in bluebeam/projectwise integration and opening documents from inside of bluebeam? If so they may have left the "Checkout on open" option off when setting up the connection. You can check this in Bluebeam under Settings > Preferences > File Access. If it lists a datasource edit it and see if Checkout on open is turned on (also turn on Checkout on open from hyperlinks).

Great, thank you. Exactly what I was looking for.  It was with bluebeam only and we have it running. Thanks!
