Projectwise User Account Problem - not viewing datasource on his profile (on his local PC).

I have a colleague who is unable to access ProjectWise Data Source using his profile login, however this use to work fine but no longer works, we have tried other user accounts on his machine from the same company and we can access his data source perfectly, plus the user can access his account on other machines - just not able to access this from his standard laptop. Yet others can which is really strange.

His data source config looks fine, licensing also is setup correct - but can't seem to get to the bottom of this problem. Is there anyone that can help..?

It appears to be the client related and singles not multiples so uninstall reinstall to see IPV6 buttons, yes?

I checked the IPV6 as well as prevent UDP all is good, when I login to Users workstation I have same issue not seeing datasource. I pinged the server and all is well. so now I'm at a loss as to why.

You could try using the user tools application and selecting Windows Socket Analyzer just to make sure you can access the server over port 5800.  I suspect this will work though if others were able to access the datasource themselves on the same machine (other than your account that is).

We haven't seen anyone else have this issue only this one user. I was able to ping the server using his workstation, and all settings in PW Network Config Settings match mine, so it looks more like it's this one computer.

      Thank you for your help

I am experiencing the same issues in my organization. UDP, DNS & DL all look good. I've noticed that in Registry, the keys for our datasource are missing a data entry for "IsEnabled", that's the only nuance I've seen so far. Has there been any updates on this type of issue?
