Find Current Technical Specifications and Limitations

I'm looking for current technical specifications and limitations for Caching Servers.  I need to know if the Caching server is using DFSN.  I know there used to be documentation for installation and configuration but for what ever reason it does not seem like it is possible find any of that.  I have looked in training, here in the communities, and in the store.  Where does one get installation, configuration, specifications, speeds, and feeds so that a person can determine if the foundation is in place?
