How does Plant 3D integration works in ProjectWise v 10.00.03.167?

    Hello All,

I am trying to make Plant 3D 2019 work with ProjectWise. I recently found that PW connect edition v3.167 has integration module for Plant 3D but I have found no information on how to integrate both.

Can someone please help me with any documentation or guidelines?

    Thanks,

    Vishal

I have integrated Plant 3D with ProjectWise in 2 different ways. 1. Using batch file create linked folder with PW working directory. This linked folder will be used for DWGDirectory path variable in ISA_PnIDPart…

The integration that is available for Plant 3D is "basic" integration. This means any of the Plant 3D project specific workflows are not integrated however the same level of integration that is available for base autocad is available for Plant 3D. This included, open, save, xref dialog boxes, titleblock updates, publish, etc. When the vertical specific workflows are integrated, it is called Advanced integration. For example we have Advanced integration for Civil 3D because PWDI can manage that project specific folder and workflows. When it comes to Plant 3D, PWDI does not support database types of files. And because Plant 3D project is primarily database driven, there are no plans for Advanced integration with Plant 3D at  this time.
