ERROR When trying to create an excel template

Please check below points

1. If Projectwise Explorer version & Microsoft Office version are compatible with each other on link.. https://docs.bentley.com/LiveContent/web/ProjectWise%20Version%20Support%20Matrix-v1/en/GUID-1A2E193F-C3D9-4709-92A2-E5B9301B5946.html

2. Check if template file is corrupted or have file extensions other than .xls, .csv.

3. Try reinstalling Microsoft Office & then compatible Projectwise Explorer version.

I had this exact error today. Repair the installation of Microsoft Office products, or re-install office products.

I am experiencing the Same error when exporting data with import / export Tool. My colleague follows the same process, same version of OS, ProjectWise and Office. We reinstalled both applications. Cleared my company Profile and reinstalled again. {SrvReqNo:[7001489413]}

It is not version compatibility if my colleague can perform the task. 

Hi Johannes - did this ever get resolved?  I have a user with the same issue.  I have the same version of PW and Excel and it works fine for me.
