Hello Community,
how can i hide the version of referenced files in the "Referenced By" window? "Right click on a file > Set > Referenced By". I only need to view the current active versions of the referenced documents like you can set it in the normal Explorer Client view.
Thanks for your help!
Using ProjectWise 10.00.03.262
There is no option t filter the listed files in a location such as referenced files in a location. Is there a reason why you would not want to see all of the files in a location?
when it lists all versions it can be difficult to tell which is the master version, and even then, if you have a lot of versions the list is very unwieldy to scroll through. If the file you're attaching is in a read-only folder you can't just scan the icon as they're all tagged read-only then.
If you never attach old versions, why display them? For us, we never need to attach versions.
This is something that shouldn't even be controlled by User Settings but by a view option with a button on the tool bar to toggle on and off. when we need versions it's typically for a short period of time. Changing user options is a lot of steps for that. (also files that are versions should have a different icon than just the read-only icon so they are more quickly identified)
The best way to hide the versions is as Amol suggested is to turn off show all versions. If you do this, the only version that will show in the listing is the most recent version. This should limit the number of files in your listing.
